ROLLER SKATES, RARE VINTAGE RIEDELL SUEDE 297 RED, SIZE 6, SNYDER IMPERIALS, WOW. I have handled many skates over the decades, but these are absolutely one of my favorites. Vintage (mid-1960's) 297 Riedell red suede boots with Snyder Imperial plates.

The boots have a touch of outside wear in the toe and heal area, but it's pretty minimal. The leather inside is simply fantastic - very soft and shows really no signs of wear.

Tongues and Shearling lining are in super condition too. For me it is fascinating to see high-end art skates roughly 56 years old in this condition. With a some cleanup and either period correct or modern shuffle wheels, I can't help but think these would be a topic of discussion. Please take the time and measure your feet accordingly with the insole measurements stated below. The insoles measure as follows.
