Snyder Super Deluxe plates Riedell boots roller skates size 9 Upgraded Wheels

Riedell boots are a size 9. I wear a size 9 wide boot and was tight but comfortable with a very thin sock. I would regularly skate an entire 3 hour session in them. The foam in the tongue isn't perfect as shown in the pictures but that never caused me any discomfort.

The plates are size 12. I replaced the rubber cups (still good and tight) and plate cushions about 15 years ago when I bought these skates. The cushions are on the softer end of the spectrum.

I've got these skates set up fairly loose so that it doesn't take much leaning to turn. Worked good for me when I wanted to spin around to skate backwards. I replaced the wheels with a set of Diamond Radar gray 62mm x 31mm in 90a hardness. The wheels are supposed to be among the best for grip.

Sometimes I felt a need for speed and I used to do a lot of turning to skate backwards. I've had so much fun skating on these over the years that I really hate parting with them.
